Investigation
Department
Working to exceed
client demand we seek a qualified and committed registered
engineer or registered geoscientist to fill the role of Seni
or Contaminated Sites Specialist. The successful candidate
will have a passion for project management and a dedication
to team and project leadership.
SENIOR
CONTAMINATED SITES SPECIALIST
Main
Accountabilities:
All
aspects of planning, organizing and directing the project
activities including design, procurement, scheduling, estimating,
client communication and cost control.
Develop
beneficial long term relationships with existing and future
clients.
Specific
Tasks:
Track
project progress according to project plan, monitor and
report on the status of projects and make recommendations
regarding project scope where required.
Provide
leadership and accountability for overall success of projects
under your direction.
Ensure
company health and safety initiatives are strictly adhered
to.
Provide
training and professional development recommendations as
required.
Qualifications
Professional
Registration in Engineering, Agriculture or Geology; 7
– 10 years directly related project management experience
in technical areas such as site and/or risk assessment or
environmental engineering.
British
Columbia experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated
ability to organize and lead teams.
Excellent
written, oral and presentation skills.
Investigation
Department

INTERMEDIATE
HYDROGEOLOGIST (Two Positions)
The
Position - Intermediate Hydrogeologist
Your role
will be to ensure that quality, consistency and professionalism
are maintained during the rapid expansion of the Investigation
Group.
Relying
on your experience and the guidance of pre-eminent colleagues,
you will lead or advise your team mates in the investigation
of organic and inorganic site contamination.
Using your
foresight, you develop work plans which focus on the key
site factors that will quickly lead to determinations or
certifications by our Rostered Experts.
The experience
that you gain at this level, along with career guidance
from prominent mentors in the firm, positions you for rapid
future advancement into technical management and/or to achieve
"Approved Professional" status.
As a registered
professional, your infectious enthusiasm for your work helps
you coach and instruct your team mates with technical development
toward their own registration.
Qualifications
Professional
designation (P. Eng., P. Geo., or P. Ag.)
Advanced
degree in related technical discipline an asset
Demonstrated
5-8 years experience in progressively more complex investigations
Thorough
understanding of contaminated sites investigation and remediation
Understand
the role of contaminant fate and transport
A strong
technical background
Excellent
skills in both oral and written communications
A drive
to attain "Approved Professional" status after 10 years
experience
SENIOR
HYDROGEOLOGIST (Two Positions)
The
Position - Senior Hydrogeologist
As an Approved
Professional in contaminated sites, our Clients are relying
on your knowledge and experience to design and oversee the
investigation and remediation of organic and inorganic site
contamination to achieve certification.
You input
key technical requirements into work plans and monitor project
execution, which allows you to confidently recommend Site
determinations or certifications.
Your importance
and visibility in this highly responsible position commands
the respect of your colleagues, and your reputation for
success positions you for Senior Management and possible
equity opportunities in the firm.
As a registered
and Approved Professional, all levels of staff seek your
advice and instruction in their technical and career development.
