Position
Purpose:
The incumbent
is responsible for the day to day field tasks and reporting
of technical functions of Keystone's Environmental Investigation
Department. The Field Supervisor 2 position is the face of
Keystone Environmental in the field and provides exceptional
client service in the domain of environmental consulting.
This position requires the individual to be competent and
knowledgeable in sciences pertaining to environmental site
assessments.
Specific
Skills and Experience:
-
Conduct Stage 1 and
2 Preliminary Site Investigations, Detailed Sites Investigations,
and Remedial Excavations.
-
Work in collaboration
with the project manager to keep the project on time and
on budget. Provide scheduled budget and project updates
to project manager.

Field work involves
site visits, overseeing subcontractors for drilling, soil
& water-sampling, permeability tests, surveying, and
excavations.

Preparation of reports,
tables and logs.
-
In collaboration with
the Business Development Manager and Department Heads, assist
in marketing or proposal tasks of predefined scheduled hours
of effort.

Follow all applicable
Keystone Environmental SOPs, policies and procedures. Guidance
is given to lower level staff assigned to a common task.

Deliver project results
in accordance with Keystones Health & Safety program,
including audit programs.

Demonstrate consistent
ethical business practices.
-
University graduate
in applied science or engineering, or technical diplomas
with acceptable relevant experience.
- Minimum
three years related experience.
-
General knowledge
of the Provincial and Federal Environmental Regulations.
-
Professionally registered
as a P. Eng, P. Geo, R.P. Bio, P Ag. or as a professional
in training in one in these above mentioned professions.
A technical diploma in related field with a minimum of three
years experience will also be considered.

Valid Driver's license
and access to a vehicle is required.
